Rooted in Change: Embracing Life’s Transitions

There was a time in my life when change felt like oxygen.

In my twenties, I moved nearly every year. New apartments, new neighborhoods, new possibilities. It was thrilling, energizing—even addicting. I chased change like it held the secret to who I was becoming. Each time, my sweet family showed up—toting boxes, rolling up rugs, and offering sandwiches and laughter in the middle of yet another move. Those days were full of freedom, curiosity, and the quiet belief that every new start might be the start.

But life has a way of shifting our perspective.

Today, I find myself in a different season. One where I crave steadiness more than surprise. My husband and I have spent years building roots—intentional ones. We've created a home filled with memories, rituals, and relationships that have deepened over time. The kind of life that doesn’t need to be packed up and reassembled every year. A life that feels anchored.

And yet, I still believe in transitions.

Just not the kind that require a moving truck.

Right now, I’m preparing for a new kind of change. One that lives online but is deeply rooted in real life. I’m excited to officially launch my own website—a creative space that captures everything I’ve been building quietly in the background. It’s a place where my professional expertise meets personal passion, where food, connection, and storytelling will come together in ways that I hope feel like home to you too.

This transition is different than the ones in my twenties. It’s not about running toward something shiny and new. It’s about honoring everything I’ve learned, all the ways I’ve grown, and stepping into the future with intention.

I’m learning that transitions don’t always have to be dramatic or disruptive. Sometimes they’re quiet. Sometimes they happen within. And sometimes, they’re just the next right thing.

Here’s to the ones we crave, the ones that surprise us, and the ones that shape us.

I can’t wait to share what’s next with you.
