The idea came to me—like so many good ones do—in the kitchen.
The kitchen has always been more than a place to cook. It’s where ideas simmer alongside soup pots and veering from a recipe feels like an authentic act of defiance. It’s a site of alchemy, where raw ingredients transform into something special, and where loved ones gather to be fed in more ways than one.
For me, the kitchen has always been a hearth—a place of comfort, experimentation, and connection. And it’s from that same spirit that The Connection Kitchen was born.
With over 40 years in communications leadership, strategic advising, and community engagement, I bring a blend of seasoned expertise and heart-centered guidance to everything I do. My career spans agency and corporate worlds — from leading award-winning PR campaigns for brands like The Clorox Company and Safeway, to nearly two decades as a senior executive at Kaiser Permanente, where I led public affairs and helped shape impactful health initiatives across California’s Bay Area. Complementing my professional work, my nonprofit board roles have strengthened my belief in public service and the power of collective impact
In 2025, I launched The Connection Kitchen to merge my lifelong love of the kitchen with my professional passion for communications and coaching. It’s not just a brand — it’s a consulting practice rooted in the belief that real connection starts with real voice. Think of it as a table set with intention: a place where stories are shared, voices are strengthened, and the work feels warm, thoughtful, and deeply human.
